BUYER REGISTRATION

If you have not created a Stags bidding account before, please continue to 'CREATE ACCOUNT' to sign up for this and future auctions. Once signed up you will then be required to 'REGISTER' for each auction we hold and accept the related Terms & Conditions.

 

Please ensure the registration form is completed fully, providing business details & references, where appropriate. In some cases, a member of the Auctions team may contact you to further verify your account.

 

If you are a new or infrequent client of the Stags Auctions department and intend on bidding on multiple and/or high value items, please ensure to contact us beforehand to avoid any risk of your account being suspended. Where insufficient details have been provided or bidding patterns appear sporadic or unusual, Stags reserve the right to suspend any such bidding account without warning.

 

OVERSEAS/NATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Purchasers from overseas, or other areas nationally, should contact the auctioneers to provide references and fully verify their account. Those that do not provide references risk having their account suspended at the auctioneer’s discretion, without notice, when participating in our auctions.

 

VIEWING DAY

A Viewing Day is being held on Wednesday 24th September between 10.00am & 4.00pm NO ALTERNATIVE VIEWING DAYS AVAILABLE 

 

COLLECTION DAY

A collection day is being held on Friday 3rd October between 9.00am & 5.00pm. All lots should be collected and Stags staff will be on-site to assist purchasers. No one will be permitted to collect items prior to the collection day and NO alternative collection dates are available. If a specific lot has a time frame stated in the lot description, that differs from the aforementioned, purchasers should adhere to those conditions at all times. This may apply to dispersal and reduction sales in particular. Stags will not be held liable for the forfeiting of an item due to late collection.

 

BUYER’S PREMIUM

Charged on all lots. Buyer’s premium is 10% per lot capped at a maximum of £250 + vat per lot (£300). Subject to a minimum charge of £2.00 per lot.

Example 1 - £10,000 non-VAT tractor + £250 buyer’s premium & £50 VAT.
Example 2 - 5 non-VAT lots all costing £200 (£1000 total) + £100 buyer’s premium & £20 VAT.

 

EXPORT BIDDERS

Please be aware that cleansing, inspecting and obtaining a Phytosanitary Certificate for any machinery sold in this auction will come at the cost of the purchaser, unless the vendor agrees to contribute to this cost prior to the purchase.

BIDS

If a successful bid has been placed, you will receive a notification email confirming your bid (Please check your junk folder). ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITY

All bids placed in any auction are legally binding. It is the responsibility of the account holder to ensure that they are the sole user of their bidding account and that any bids placed are accurate.

Bidders are liable for any bids and consequential purchases made in any case.
 

WEB BROWSER & BIDDING

• Please place bids in good time and do not wait to bid until the very last moments, particularly if you are bidding on multiple lots.

• Any bids placed within the last 5 minutes of any lot closing, will increase the lot closing time by an additional 5 minutes. I.e., a bid placed on a lot with 3 minutes left until closing, will increase the lot closing time by 5 minutes, resulting in total closing time now being 8 minutes.
