BUYER’S PREMIUM
Items purchased online, on the phone or by a proxy/absentee form are charged at 12.5% + VAT per lot, capped at a maximum of £500 per lot.
Items purchased in the field are charged at 10% + VAT per lot, capped at a maximum of £250 per lot. Subject to a minimum charge of £2.00 per lot.
Example 1 – In the field - £10,000 tractor + £250 buyer’s premium + VAT (Total buyer’s premium is £300)
Example 2 – Online - £10,000 tractor + £500 buyer’s premium + VAT (Total buyer’s premium is £600)
Example 3 – In the field - 5 lots all costing £200 (£1000 total) + £100 buyer’s premium + VAT (Total buyer’s premium is £120)
Example 4 – Online - 5 lots all costing £200 (£1000 total) + £125 buyer’s premium + VAT (Total buyer’s premium is £150)
