Out of a selection of homebred does, bred with a focus on hardiness, low inputs, and commercial viability. These does may be in kid (not scanned), due up until late August, as they were run with a proven Pedigree Boer buck (Himmon Hero) late in the breeding season, although the buck did not have a crayon used. Thus, their service status is unknown. The buck carries the red gene from his Australian Embryo Transfer sire, Jersey Red Apache. Service certificates to pedigree register any kids born can also be available at additional cost. CAE accredited and Johnes tested negative (R1) with the SRUC, one of only ten breeders in the country with this level of health status. Does will be dewormed one day prior to moving. Due to being potentially in kid, these does must be collected ASAP after the sale, latest by 1st July (when the Bluetongue zone extends to all of England). Alternatively, if sold outside of the Zone, a pre movement test can be arranged. Should these does kid on-site prior to collection, the kids may not be sold at foot.
